A New Story Arc in WFTWR
What From the Water Rises is our series of free interconnected short stories following the residents of an island raised by the god of the sea. Starting August 23, WFTWR will begin a longer story arc focused on Azarion, the crown prince of Sehmera, who abdicated the throne and fled to Isle Ezu.

Taker of the Third Path
Fell is serializing an updated version of their steamy gay fantasy romance!
When Linmiru settles at an abandoned inn on an ancient crossroads, he is happy to entertain guests and continue his work as a priest and hedgewitch—but this is merely cover for the real reason behind his presence. The voice on the wind he calls god, Ton, has sent Linmiru here to watch for the taker of the third path. According to prophecy, their meeting will change the world. But the arrival of a mysterious wanderer throws Lin’s careful plans into chaos, and ultimately calls into question what really awaits him at the end of the third path.

Heirloom
Starting in September, B will share some exploratory short stories about the world and characters of their WIP, Heirloom.
This horror-tinged urban fantasy follows two reluctant vampire hunters with psychic powers who struggle to understand their own abilities and the supernatural happenings around them. It's a little spooky, a little strange, and very queer.
The first short will be published on Patreon on September 15th; future plans to be announced.
Hierarchy of the Unseen updates
We wanted to thank you all again for a great release month! We're so touched by the positive response, from great reviews on Goodreads and Storygraph to a feature on a 2023 queer SFF release list from Metaphors & Moonlight. We're beginning to make plans for the sequel and we're excited to get started (and to share hints of what's to come) soon!
In the meantime, if you haven't read it yet, be sure to check it out! Reviewers call it a "fresh, engaging" and "richly descriptive" "page-turning tale."
